this product is a great paperweight….. they work great for 15mins then u lose the mic. and shortly there after u lost sound …. razor says we r sorry r engineers r working with Microsoft 2 solve this issue they say its a problem with vista 64 and SP2 ……in the mean time i get 2 enjoy how well this product looks as a 150 dollar paperweight ………a waste of money I’m glad the economy is good and I’m made of money……NOT….don’t be a fool and waste your money…….

Pros:
SUPER comfortable.
This thing is REALLY nice to look at with it’s blue lights everywhere.
Sound quality is great!
Cons:
Would have been nice to have some way to mount the bulky sound controller out of the box.
Putting the headset back into it’s carrying case can be a bit awkward at times.
Price
Overall, I would recommend this thing to anyone who has ~$150 to spend on a headset. You definitely wont be disappointed, on the bright side if you’re ok with less sound quality and want the same awesome looking headset you can always get the Charcharias which is a pretty solid performer as well.

My headset performs very well in terms of not crashing or making weird noises. However, the quality is not the best. Is not always clear where is the sound coming from, if from the sides or from the back. Other than that, Im enjoying it a lto.

The product looks nice – but it does not work on many configuration: the sound just stops coming from the speakers after about 20 mins of game play – razer had a firmware fix which doesn’t fix anything – they made me jump through hoops, lots of slow back and forth emails, sending screenshots and configs etc… to finally come back to day with
“Razer has heard from a few Windows 7 users that are experiencing this problem. This seems to be a compatibility problem with some Windows 7 machines. Our engineers are currently researching this issue and hope to have a solution very soon. Please check back to [...]m in the near future for any updates.”
Interestingly today is exactly the 31th day since I ordered on amazon – ie I can’t return this defective product… in other word I got scammed – don’t be !
Microphone quality is also horrible on windows 7 (and volume/sensitivity setting of it basically doesn’t work either)
If by miracle a fix eventually comes I’ll update this…
