  1. I love WoW. It is my favorite passtime, but i cant justify the price tag on this one. It is outrageous. As soon as you open the box, it will no longer be mint condition, therefore, prctically worthless. The only reason to collect this would be for nostalgia. 20 years from now, im sure ill remember the good times i had playing WoW, but i wont be able to relive them cuz all the servers will be shutdown by then. That makes it hard to justify this product as collectible. It should be called the If You Have An Extra $60 To Throw Away On A Bunch Of Crap You Dont Need Edition.

  2. Well then Death knight was a plus or would be if everyone wasn’t entitled to one. also epic items are availble to any idoit who wants to aquire them. there is no longer any challenge to the game. those who are looking to not be spoon fed every oportunity in order to be like any two bit dweeb who spends 10 secounds a day playing the game every day may want to spend their time else where.

  3. I just ordered mine from a popular stores website and with overnight shipping it was less than 1/3 of this price. Anyone who would pay this must be crazy!

  4. You can still order the CE for the “normal” price from many shops. Dont even think of paying this much for it.

  5. Most of the resellers here probably bought their copies of the collectors edition with no intention of playing the game. Instead they’re looking to take advantage of those folks not quick enough on the draw to get a copy.

Amazon should dump these dirt-bags and put some kind of a moratorium on items of this nature. To allow price gouging kill-joys to resell one of the most highly sought after games to people for double the original price is free-market bastardry of the most annoying kind.

I hope no one is desperate enough or dumb enough to buy one of these copies. That way their “investment” sits on a shelf long enough that they either give it away or sell it for a reasonable price to someone that will actually enjoy the game.

Sure – there’s nothing *wrong* or *illegal* with what they’re doing probably – but there are a long list of folks that that wanted the Collectors Edition that got beat out by these profiteering pogues.

    Oh – and *no* – I didn’t get my copy either ;)

So in a nutshell – good luck finding a copy somewhere – just don’t buy it from Amazon’s resellers.
