I bought the game, thinking the content would be very similar to what is already out there, just in a new area. I was a bit right, but there are a ton of interesting and fun quests. Bombing quests, quests where you become a bird, a robot, drive a tank, help save endangered species, etc. It's not just "kill x amount of y" anymore, though that will always be sprinkled in the game.

Having 2 starting areas is great. I went to Borean Tundra, it seemed very crowded, so I went to Howling Fjord for a bit. Howling Fjord reminds me of Darkshore. While initial quests are nearby, further ones require a bit more running around. Borean Tundra seems more compact somehow. Another consideration is gear. Much of my gear, except for my chest, was blue or epic. The chest piece I got in Fjord was tank, but I'm dps. I went to the Tundra and got the same piece, but with crit instead of defense and more strength on it. So it might be worth running both areas if you need to level your gear.

I've done both Nexxus and Utgard instances and they are faily easily for a level 70 with a mix of gear. I actually got a blue shoulder slot item that was better than my epic item and there is a nice dagger (100+dps) that drops from the last boss in Nexxus.

Death knights? They are fun. They have a separate beginning area and quest line. Can you skip these quests? I don't know, but you actually earn your talent points via questing until you leave the area so I don't see why you'd would want to. Much of the game for this part is more like an instance, with those players on the same quest being in the same instance. So the area changes as you play and the story progresses.
I think it would have been better to make the Death Knight a third faction who is independent of the Horde or Alliance, but I also understand that this might require other additions that they developers didn't have time to or want to make.

And a note to all you people who just rolled DK's: You quit being an evil character when you chose an allignment. You don't need to keep acting like a jerk in the outlands.
